THE ROLE

We're seeking a Senior Smart Contract Engineer to join our team in Berlin. This role goes beyond typical engineering duties - you'll play an integral part in guiding the development and security of the protocol, refining our core stability mechanism, and contributing to decentralized reserve management.

The right fit for this position is someone who is not just experienced but is a leader ready to guide others. Your role will involve providing advice, coaching, and mentorship to junior engineers. With your analytical mind, a strong aptitude for problem-solving, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team, you'll help shape the future of the web3 economy.

REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ years of experience in Solidity programming using frameworks such as Foundry, Hardhat, or Truffle.
• A history of deploying complex smart contract systems to a public EVM-based blockchain.
• 5-10 years of professional engineering experience in a collaborative, product-driven environment.
• Significant professional experience in Typescript, Go, Rust, or C#.
• A deep understanding of Solidity and the EVM.
• Experience with cloud-based platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and a strong grasp of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Bonus: You have experience working with third party smart contract auditors such as OpenZeppelin, Certora

Bonus: Previous involvement with a smart contract system that has processed high-dollar volume transactions.

Bonus: Knowledge of common and historical smart contract exploits, as well as how to prevent them.
