We seek a Senior Research Backend Engineer who will help build and expand our platform.
The target individual will be responsible for adding new components and improvements to our backbone infrastructure. Strong software development and system architecture skills are required, as well as the ability to independently understand and research third-party application code.
The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of ownership, past experience as a Senior Software Engineer in the realms of cyber / computer networks /distributed systems or similar fields and be naturally curious about new technologies.
· At least 5 years full-time as a senior software engineer.
· Good knowledge of python and high-level knowledge of any other programming language.
· Good sense of software design and experience with proper software SDLC (source control, CI/CD...).
· Ability to read and learn new software protocols and specs.
· Experience in Blockchain/DeFi is an advantage.
· Experience working in an early-stage start-up is an advantage.
· Experience with a cloud platform (e.g. AWS) - advantage.
