THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a Head of Decentralized Finance (DeFi) to lead our DeFi strategy andinitiatives.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge and experience in the DeFi and TradFi space, strong technical expertise, and the ability to shape the future of finance.

This role requires both strategic vision and a hands-on approach to onboard new and existing DeFi projects including projects that may be a Defi and TradFi combination.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define and implement DeFi strategy, aligning with the company's overall goals and vision
• Stay abreast of developments and trends in the DeFi, TradFi and broader blockchain industry,adapting our strategy accordingly.
• Source and oversee the onboarding of innovative DeFi products and services on our platform
• Build relationships with key stakeholders in the DeFi and TradFi space, including developers, investors, regulatory bodies, and users.
• Work closely with our technical team to address any platform issues that may affect our DeFi initiatives.
• Advocate for the company's DeFi vision at industry events, in media interviews, and in other public settings.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in a leadership role in both the DeFi and Tradfi industries.
• Deep understanding of blockchain technology and the DeFi ecosystem
• Experience in product management, ideally within a fintech or blockchain environment.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership abilities with a track record of managing high-performing teams
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
